Sick :(

Oh my gosh. Do you know what it feels like to have a fork jammed down your throat and the prongs cut into the flesh until it feels like ribbony strings of pain? Yup that's pretty much how I feel right now. Or well, to be more specific, every single time I swallow.

Because for some reason, I got sick the day before so I didn't go to school yesterday. I was in school the day before when I really started feeling crappy. And that crappy feeling continued on for the whole day. I had fever, headache, sore throat, coughing and my body ached all over. By now, I've already recovered from everything except my sore throat. And I didn't even see a doctor, I just slept it off (with the help of a Panadol or two :).

So. My throat. Where do I start? The part where even talking hurts, or the part where I can't even swallow my freekin' saliva it hurts so bad :/

Sorry, I just needed to rant :D

I first saw this boy in the movie Race To Witch Mountain when he was playing an alien (albeit an alien humanoid in form, but an alien nonetheless), and he looked like this:

He's the one on the right, don't get him confused with AnnaSophia Robb. I know they look alike but really.

And now he looks like this:

HOLY. COW. What happened to this kid??!! Wait, how old is he - hold on while I check on Wikipedia.

He's 19, so that means he was 17 when he did Race To Witch Mountain. How can one person change so much in 2 years? Well, maybe they downplayed his hotness a little. I mean he looks like the same person but he just looks so much younger in that movie. Did I mention he's playing Cato in The Hunger Games movie? Eep! You know, even though he gets brutally mauled in the end.

Prefect Camp

I got back from the prefect orientation camp held at my school a few days ago. And for those few days, my legs have felt like they'd been run over by a bulldozer. For the uninitiated, prefects are like the people who maintain discipline and order in our school and stuff.

Anyway, for the 3 days and 2 nights (both of which had nightcalls) we (i.e. the other people who were there) were there, we had drills (marching), games (which involved water and flour. Yeah, not a very good combination), drills, food, and drills. Guess that explains my aches and pains. But hey, the people were great. Friendly and welcoming, hey, I would go all over again if just for the company. (Hopefully I can walk by the time school reopens)

I know it's gonna be a tough year ahead, especially with all these new responsibilities piled on me, but at least I know everyone's just as clueless as me. :) But you know what they say, with great power comes great responsibility.
